Past Event: National Garden Scheme (NGS) Open Afternoon - Turn End's 40th year of opening to support the Scheme

Join us in celebrating 40 years of opening Turn End’s garden for the National Garden Sccheme. Explore Turn End’s intriguing series of garden rooms at our annual charity open day when the garden will be bursting into life with colour from bulbs and early perennials. Each area of Turn End’s listed garden has a different planting style, including the dry garden, a small woodland with spring bulbs, formal box garden with bedding, a sunken garden surrounding the Victorian coach house, mixed borders around a curving lawn, all framed by ancient mud walls and mature trees. Discover pools, pergolas clad with climbers and secluded seating.

Visit the studio of Artist-in-Residence Heather Hunter, who specialises in artists’ books.

All ticket proceeds to NGS who support caring and nursing charities.

Plants and books for sale.  Teas and homemade cakes for Christian Aid.

The garden only is open at our NGS open day. The house is closed.

Adults: £4.50 (Children: free) Tickets on door (cash only please)
